ABOUT VAN DE ZAND
Van de Zand Customs Agent BV was founded in 1992 by Mr. Johan van de Zand.In 2018, the business was passed on to Cyana van de Zand. The customs agency started in a business unit located in the parking lot of the industrial area “De Grens” in Heijen. At that time, customers would bring their goods to the office and customs, where the goods could be declared on-site.
With the growth of the business, a larger location was needed. This was found in the current company building at De Grens 4 in Heijen. This building was designed and constructed under our own management.
Until 2007, customs was our neighbor, but with the automation of customs procedures, it was no longer necessary for customs to physically stay in our building. At that point, we were also able to handle various types of declarations electronically.
Despite the growth we have experienced over the years, our mentality has remained the same. Personal contact with our customers is our top priority. We are still a close-knit family business with genuine interest in our clients. We attach great value to personal contact; with us, your company is not just a number, but a client. In this regard, we also like to think along with you and find a solution to every problem. In short, we are a reliable partner for now and the future.
